There are actually travel companies that specialize in golfing vacations, so the enthusiastic golfer can just book and have a dream holiday – though I’m not so sure about the golfing widows!

Golfing holidays are a great thing for an overseas trip however, most of the famous courses are right in the USA – Pebble Beach, Palm Springs, Myrtle Beach and so on.

The other great thing about golfing tours is that they are usually organized by other enthusiasts who understand a golfer’s needs. In fact, that is one of the best things about any themed vacation – they are planned etc by like-minded people who know their stuff.
This means less serendipity, confusion or having to do things that you don’t want to do.
